Situated in the beautiful Waitawheta Valley, near Waihi and the Karangahake Gorge,  you will find in the Sunflower Cottage a relaxing place to stay for up to 4 people.
The cottage is set in 10 acres of paddocks, lined with trees, looking over the valley.

The cottage has everything in it to make your stay enjoyable. In the summer months relax out in the garden and in the winter snuggle up with a book after a firm walk in the bush. The surroundings are fabulous to bike and the Hauraki Rail Trail is close by.
During season you might even want to feed a calf.

Wander around our small farm and see the friendly animals. Calves, cows, some free range chickens and our - very old - dog named Max.

Sunflower Cottage is the ideal place after an active day or after a day just doing nothing.
